In 2018 I made the design for this garden that was then laid out around their beautiful new house (Onix architects) in Peize. Back then it was still an empty plot, but the garden has now become 'mature'. The photos were shot in 2022.
Natural materials and permeable paving such as gravel, concrete cattle grids in the driveway and a large wooden platform as a terrace have been used as much as possible. The light gravel forms a beautiful contrast with the dark facade cladding of the house.
The planting is characterized by a mix of ornamental grasses with colourful perennials. Supplemented with various, mostly native, shrubs and trees. The flowers, fruits and berries attract many bees, butterflies and birds, an express wish of the residents.
